Carousel Museum Collection
In preparation for your year end tax donations, please consider donating to the Carousel Museum's transportation fund! Our permanent collection of carousel animals continues to grow each year. Donations to the collection have come from all over the United States including, Maine, Connecticut, New York, Kansas, Las Vegas, New Jersey, California, and New York. Your support of our transportation fund will help us get these animals to the Museum and into their forever home!
From the Director
The Carousel Museum aims to be a transformative partner within the Bristol community and the broader Carousel community. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, we reassessed our values and vision, achieving financial stability and developing a Strategic Plan, including a Capital Improvement Plan to enhance our facilities and introduce a Carousel to downtown Bristol.
With support from the Barnes Foundation, we created our Strategic Plan for 202-2027, facilitated by Leadership Greater Hartford. This comprehensive plan addresses our mission, collection, and community needs while promoting sustainability and inclusivity.
It is a privilege to lead this joyful organization alongside our Board, staff, and volunteers. We invite you to join us in preserving and educating about Carousels through our programs and events. Thank you for your support; we look forward to sharing our vision and passion for Bristol and Carousel art.
