Richard Norton

Museum Intern

Richard came to the museum in early 2025 and is new to the carousel world and its history. He has a passion for art history and for making the world of art accessible to the wider public. He has a BA in Art History with dual minors in Anthropology and Studio Art from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, CT. He is pursuing an MA in Art History and Visual Culture from Lindenwood University in St. Louis, MO. Most of his knowledge is in Ancient Mediterranean culture and art, but he is finding love for the history of the carousel.
